Yeah, it's easier to lowball someone but.... If they post no price and then say no lowballers, serious inquiries only, then what do you do? You don't want to sound like an *** becasue what you think might be a fair price, someone else might think is a lowball price and some people get insulted. I think if your going to take the time to sell something then price should be included. If it's more than someone is willing to spend then you don't waste your and the other persons time. This is a good thread and i think it should be a sticky in all of the classified forums.

It would be nice if a realistic asking price were included in the original post but how do you make someone comply if for some reason they don't know the current value, or are just unwilling to post a price? If I'm interested in an item for sale I usually have an idea of what it's worth. I'll never offer more than I'm willing to spend because I think it's a waste of time to get into a bidding war.

I agree that this is a valid discussion but the Classified forums exist for: "Cars, parts, electronics, etc for sale and trade. Private parties and approved regional i-Club Vendors."
