Alex Smith vs. Jay Cutler

FF question for you guys who play:

I have Jay Cutler and Alex Smith on my team. Who would you start? I think Alex Smith will have a comeback game and his receivers and line are gonna work hard for him tonight, especially at home. More is at stake for the 49ers this game and the really need to step up and i think they will.

Defense will probably contain the bears and Cutler.

the 49ners have had secondary issues but Cutler doesn't have any receivers.... So its a toss up but Chicago did get destroyed by the Bengals...

How would this team of starters do in your league????

Aaron Rodgers

Adrian Peterson
Ronnie Brown

Andre Johnson
Steve Smith (giants)

Wes Welker alternate

Jason Witten

Tynes

Philly Defense

SF Defense as alternate.

I have serious depth at RB as well. Lynch. JJ. Etc.

wow, even as fantasy football goes alex smith is bad. The niners are terrible in real life so..... this thread is like saying a root canal or a spinal tap, both really suck

Not bad! you'd probably be in the top half (12 teams).

Yeah I'm currently in a tie for 5th in my league but I lost this week and I think I'm dropping to a solid 6th.

I am the number ONE point scorer in the league. This week for example... I made ALL the right picks on who to play and sit and got max value out of my team. Scored 168 I think it was. The dude I played scored 183.

I've played him twice this year... he's scored 183 and 196. By a HUGE margin his best two games of the year... HUGE. I think in half his games he's scored under 100.

Every guy I play has his top one or two games against me. It's ridiculous. So frustrated. If I loose this week I'm gonna start making trades with my buddy to help him out. haaaa. See if I can't help him get a championship. I won it last year.

as for my pick. I said Cutler. He's had a couple bad games and I think they are failing to adapt to the loss of the TE.

I think that changes a bit this week. I think they simplify the offense and you'll see more dumps to the RB's and more slot passes. Less picks.

Neither of them is gonna put up HUGE numbers but I think the potential is their for cutler to throw more TD's. I wouldn't give up on him for another week.

Sad that you're QB choices are those guys... is Delhomme or Garrard available? Garrard has a good match up this week and he's been super solid the last two weeks.
