"Why would you want to bag..
Oh...nevermind" :P
haha. Really though, Ive been looking at a 50/50 setup. Static in the rear and bags up front. 1. for $$$ purposes. 2. I like the raked look. 3. For most speed bumps and daily-ing its the front you have to worry about. Oil pan, etc. at least in my experience.
The above pic/owner is using a memoryfab setup. I contacted them...brace yourself...it was like 4K...so yeah be prepared to shell out some loots.

I swear to god...
I don't remember seeing anything along the lines of a track set of bags. The only stuff I have seen are the K Sport system (which I think is crap) and the RS build I posted earlier. I have seen a few bagged Subies but I don't know what kind of systems they are using.

yeah the K-Sports are pretty generic, just like their coils...albeit overpriced generic to make it look legit. Rebranded, repainted cheap-o stuff. idk if Id trust them. The guy from VIP'd Out lives over by me. Hes a really nice guy and told me he'd help me source a full setup for less than half the memoryfab one. I saw once that car and driver or speed or one of the powerblock shows on spike did a test of a camaro SS a few years back. did springs, coils, and airbags on the same car and took it through the slaloms and skid pad. the bags did better than the springs and as good as the coils. They were trying to disprove that air bags were ****e when it came to performance. myth: busted lol. I wouldnt take them to a track though, just based on heat and extreme demands. But for dailys, I dont see why not, if you want to be herra-frush and not break things just to brag about being static and daily...I mean..I spent 26K on my car and I want it to be low, but not at the risk of having to replace broken parts when I could run bags and air it up when needed. if that makes me a puss then so be it.
My friend has an Evo thats like..an inch off the ground in the front...if that high...and the rear is tucking tire. There are places he just can not go because hes static. He said he wont go new places in his car first because he has to scout it out in someone elses car first. I dont want to run into that problem, so bags are the answer.

^^^ lol yes and I know it's a Subie...... But it's useless if I don't go snow or track the car... I rather show my car and show people how It looks. People just have to be open minded about people who or how they fix their carS don't matter if it's a Subie, evo or any kind of cars. I'm just saying

But to each their own.
Joe's gonna hate me, but I'll say it anyway: if you wanted it slammed, you shouldn't have gotten a rally homologation car. Just like how you shouldn't prepare a road racer for rallying. Why buy an apple when you wanted an orange?
Typical Americans never understand the sport saloon or the sport estate. "If it's not a coupe, 3-door, or convertible, it's not a sportscar."

Hi, you know you dont live on a rally course right? lol I swear some people think that just because subaru has rally roots that they live on a damn track. I drive my car to and from work on the street. Thats it. I drive a subaru for the performance of the engine, body styling, and AWD system. Not to track it. This rant isnt directed at anyone in particular, Im just sick of hearing 'oh you drive a subaru so hellaflush is stupid bc subarus are race/rally cars' If I had a dedicated track car, it wouldnt be slammed. I have a daily driver for christ's sake.

I, on the other hand, like to traverse speed bumps at reasonable speed and in a straight line, not to mention being able to drive over minor road debris without splitting a lip or front air dam.

No you did not say, however your pictures and comment of 'You know you drive a subaru right?' all eluded to the context that because subarus are rally "homologation" cars and you cited with pictures of full on track cars, that they (subarus) are race/rally cars (and here are several pictures to prove my (your) argument) you should not be trying to fit them with air suspension. Second, the whole point of the air ride is adjustability on the fly so that you dont have to crack a lip or air dam or go out of your way and can traverse speed bumps at leisure, as opposed to being static dropped.
Seems your issue here isnt just about air ride, but about having a slammed subaru and your personal driving preference. Neither of which were asked in the OPs first post. He was asking for advice on brands of air suspension systems. Lets try to keep this thread on topic?

Hey, at least I didn't call the OP (and you) a n00b (which you guys are, BTW ). But what I can agree on with you is that yes, this thread should stay on topic. Enough from me, I've said my piece, whether anyone took it to heart or not. Apples to apples, my friends.
