Advan AD07 - Clearance on Tire Rack

How wide are your tires? I remember asking you this before but I don't remember...
Just so everyone knows, a stock 98-01 2.5RS utilizes a 205/55/16 tire, and the widest you can go aftermarket on a stock RS (read: no fender rolling) is a 215/45/17... Any wider than that and you're most likely going to rub, ESPECIALLY if you're lowered. If your car is stock ride height, you MIGHT be able to pull off a 225/40/17, but I've had a stock car rub under HARD cornering.

I used to run 225s and they'd rub like crazy. One reason was that I was running stock wheels and the offset pulls it in so far it rub the interior wheel wheel and strut. Also, most people aren't willing to use camber plates, which gets the top inward, and then you have more room to play down below. I've run 245s with rolled fenders, which was really easy.
Those are 245/45/16 RS-2s on 16x8 +48. Probably had some sort of like 3mm or 5mm spacer too, can't remember.
That picture was taken in 2006, but I started running them in 2005.

hey Gagan, whats a the best offset to run 225/45/17s on 17X8s on a GC? will +48s work with roling or should I space it out 3-5mm? amd yeah theyre rolled of course

+48 should fit just fine with rolled fenders. You might need a 3mm spacer, depends on alignment/angle of the strut.

cool ya I really dont want to swap out the Prodrive/Bilstein suspension for coilovers so it will just be camber bolts in the rear, prolly grab some 3mm spacers to be safe, thanks bud!

dude, Gagan, you've had the 22B fender since 2005!? It's really been that long!? OMG, time goes by soooo much faster as you get older... I swear, the last 5 years have just FLOWN by. Can you guys believe that the indian ocean tsunami was 6 years ago!? Seems like 3 years MAX. 6 years ago!!! 2004... That is friggin crazy (how time flew by THAT fast).
As you age, time starts to go by much faster, so enjoy the time that you have on this rock.

I was running 16x8 with 245s in 2005, but had uber rolled fenders in the rear.
The wide body was done in 2008.
