I was driving my mom to work today, we were traveling on 680N towards Livermore from Fremont.

As we were driving I noticed 3 cars driving erratically and coming up me at a high rate of speed... I was driving just a notch above the speed limit and blending in with traffic (which was pretty light), these guys had plenty of room to get over and pass us in the fast lane but instead one of the guys gets on my *** while one of his buddies (all of them were driving Acura CL's... newer gen ones) pulls up next to me and matches my speed... He then starts floors it, slows down to my speed again, then floors it again, and repeats this at least 5 or times.... The whole time this is happening I have some POS CL riding my *** like a dumbass while the 3rd CL is cruising in the fast lane just ahead of me (I was in the slow lane, the guy trying to race me was next to me in the middle lane and his friend was in the fast lane cruising just ahead of us with a passenger in his car.... It wasn't until I got close that I realized that the car in the fast lane had a camcorder that were recording the whole thing...

I guess they were hoping that I'd race them and they could get video of it or something but I didn't give in to their childish game and they eventually got bored and sped off like a bunch of idiots. As they sped off they had to have been going at least 110+mph because I was going just shy of 70 and they all floored it as they left and kept flooring it for quite a long time (you could hear and see the smoke coming from the exhaust) so I wouldn't be surprised if they were going faster then 110mph.

Acura CL's? What the hell were these guys thinking? All of them were young, in the mid 20's range and all if them looked sooooo stupid in their crappy *** cars... Even my mom asked why they would try to race me in their camerys (she thought they were Camery's) which I thought was funny. Anyway, screw those bastards and their little sewing machines.

Cliff notes: 3 POS Acura CL's tried to race me on 680N and were video taping the entire thing. They were driving like jack asses and were scaring the hell out of my mom which was not cool in any sense. I hope they crash and end up with their dicks in each others asses as a direct result of the accident.

I've been noticing more modded CL's lately. I saw 2 driving together in SF the other day near the Colma bart station.

 

A couple weeks ago I had a CL blow past me on 880 south near UC also going 110 to 120, EASY. Guy was driving like a idiot, wonder if its one of the same dudes.

He got sooo lucky though. After he passed me, up ahead 3 out of 4 lanes were blocked by cars, only the #2 lane was open for him to shoot through the gap. Right before he got to the gap some old pickup truck started to merge into his lane in front of him but then quickly swerved back once he saw the guy flying up behind him.

 

lol. i find it funny that people would take the time to whip out a video recorder (or cell phone) to capture such awesome (heavy sarcasm) moments on the freeway what a bunch of losers. but i guess even losers need a hobby

 

Ignorant people do ignorant things. I had a similar incident. Not Acura, but a dodge caliber srt this week. Why some people want to race in highway puzzles me.
