As some might remember, I had a squad of Acura CL's try to video tape me racing them on 680N while I was driving my mom to work...



Last night I encountered another set of Acura CL's that were trying to race some Disgustang (mustang), but he wasn't having any of it, so them floor it and catch up to me. They pull up to the side of me and start flooring it just enough to get a half car on me, then they let off. I did my best to ignore these idiots in their piece of CRAP Acura CL's ( WTF were they thinking? Acura CL vs a tuned 07 STi!?). I finally got fed up with it and stuck my arm out of the window and gave them the "jacking off" symbol, which they didn't like very much so they flipped me off and yelled something through their window in anger. I just smiled and laughed which pissed them off even more.

Both floored it and took off after that because obviously I wasn't going to race their little sewing machines that they call cars. One of the CL's was a "Type S", not sure what that means or not, but I know they are FWD and I know for a fact that my STi would have no problem eating them for breakfast.


Idiots!!! I hate Acura CL owners... All of them cause problems in some fashion or another. I think it's because the cars used to be owned by their parents and now the kids have them and think they are all hot **** in their parents old hand me down.


Anyone else have experiences with Acura CL's? I never have this problem with ANY other Honda... Not civics, not preludes, nada... Those CL's are NOT fast in any way, I've driven a later model CL-S and it def wasn't fast and my STi would have pwn3d it really badly.


Where's the Calvin pissing on Acura CL? I hate Teenagers! But there's nothing worse than teenagers with cars! OMG

cl-s are nice cars the pass side mirror tilts down so you can see the curb before you hit it. and if they were 6 speeds they go pretty good! Ive seen them go 13.8x stock but I would love to hear how it would go down with your sti and them. next time hit it then let off!!!

 

Those things do not go 13.8 stock. Maybe 14.8, maybe.

The only CL owner I know is kind of a d-bag. He set off a chlorine gas bomb near a local starbucks "because why not"?.

 

yeah I test drove a few and almost bought the last year they made em new. Don't see any hopes of a 13.8 stock even w MM&FF driving, you'll be lucky to see a low 14 in that heavy pig.

My main dislike is the suspension, so muted and turdy, the exact thing that has given japper cars a bad name in the past.
