Accident on 280
Does anyone know anything about the big accident on 280 by the DeAnza Exit tonight? It seemed pretty crazy. I hope whomever that was involved is going to be okay.

I was getting on 280 south RIGHT after it happened. A girl was laying on the road and one of her limbs was laying about 15 feet away from her. Was pretty disturbing.
Edit: It happened @ about 9:30pm.

Can you copy/paste it. Not sure everyone's going to want to sign up to read it.
Edit: A three car crash on Highway 280 in San Jose Friday night left one person dead, the California Highway Patrol said.
After the three cars crashed near De Anza Boulevard, a woman in one of the cars got out and began running on the side of the road where she was hit by oncoming traffic, said CHP Officer Tom Stewart. She was declared dead at the scene, he said. Her identity was not released.
Stewart did not have further details on the crash, which occurred just before 9:30 p.m.

A woman, hit and killed by a taxi cab on Friday night on southbound Interstate 280, has been identified as Donna Marie Ward, 55 of Los Altos by the Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner's Office.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, her body severed by the impact of the car traveling at highway speeds of around 65 mph, said Officer Steve Perea with the California Highway Patrol.
"The injuries she sustained were very, very mortal," Perea said.
It's unclear why Ward was walking in the number 2 lane - just to the right of the fast lane - on southbound Interstate 280, near DeAnza Boulevard around 9:10 p.m. Friday. There were reports that she might have left her disabled vehicle on the other side of the freeway, but no such car has been found, he said.
The crash is still under investigation. The taxi was impounded, as is routine with such investigations, and there's no sign the driver had been under the influence, Perea said. After hitting Ward, the driver stopped and flagged down help.
