If creating a budget cap made it "fair" then only the dominant teams would be upset about it, there are 10 teams in F1 right now and 8 of them are opting out... obviously, this **** is redic.

traction control that was GPS based. aka you drive to the corner and the car knows how much grip is in each exact corner at what place so you couldnt spin haha or over shoot it
yea that stuff is whack, and I'm glad they took it all out. Again that is what the formula is for though. Money had nothing to do with it. I think the formula itself is not too far off track, except for not testing during the year, i can't understand that, but the cars are very much raw these days as they should be.

spanky said that will be delayed now.

what the FIA purposed makes sense in an ideal world. budget cap teams will have technical freedom, while non-budget teams will have a set of regulations. this would let everyone race together at hopefully the same pace. in a realistic world, there's no way of predicting how quick or slow capped teams will be. which makes it hard to make up the regulations for non-budget teams. also, it'll be hard if not impossible to police the budget for teams.

"Bernie has also chimed in, saying the FOTA can't afford to run a breakaway series..."

These teams that spend hundreds of millions to play his game can't afford it???

"...and he can't understand why they'd want to try when he's already arranged everything for them."

I'm sure it never occurred to him that he is not the only person on the planet with organizing skills, and maybe the reason he can "afford it" is because the teams have been paying him so much...

"Of course, it hasn't helped things that, also during the British GP, Mosley reportedly called the FOTA members "loonies." Nor does it help that the FOTA has already proposed a 17-race calendar for next year -- "

I've said it before and I'll say it again- Bernie and Max both need to friggin' retire and go away!

Speaking about his own position, Mosley added: “I will not be up for re-election now we have peace.”
