But you did do something wrong. You mentioned it above: No front plate (illegal) and tinted front windows (illegal). That's why he pulled you over and ticketed you. Anything else he talked to you about after the pull over is incidental. And as long as you run with those parts like that you'll continue to get pulled over. It's as simple as that.

If you had a front plate and your tint complied with the law, I doubt he'd pull you over for a big-wing ticket as there are tons of STI and EVOs running around the bay area not getting pulled over for theirs. They get pulled over for legitimate reasons.

Just my 2-cents...

is it really such a great idea to explicitly state that you have illegal mods and post a picture of your car with the plate #'s visible on a public forum?

I don't have to worry about subaru warranty because I don't have one (recently cancelled it) and I doubt any type of local law enforcement comes on these boards.... so nope i dont see a problem posting that picture and saying i have illegal mods.

What you want to do is take it to the ref and PASS. Then you have the paper in your car. When a cop ignores if you can take it to court and shove it in his face.

eat that rosetti.

You'd be surprised how many cops not only drive Scoobies, but are i-club members.
