Not sure if that promise is with teh niners as gore is the main guy. We'll see if they can keep a good 1-2 punch... or if someone else is interested and throws out some $$

Not to mention stop the run. Doesn't matter how good your offense looks or how good your run game is... Can't stop the run... can't win.

Even in the TERRIBLE division they're in they'll be lucky to win 6 games if they give up runs like they did last night. Terrible. IF they can shore up the problem they've had for YEARS they'll be good. The defense against the pass isn't half pad.

So... if they can stop the run even a little, run as well as they did last year and let Russell go down field every now and again they might even win 9 games and make the playoffs. Scary. Get pounded in the play offs but still. haaaaa.

niners looked half decent. I don't know why they are even messing with Alex. He's a good guy to have around as a number 2 but S. Hill is the man right now. The dude just knows how to win games. With the running game they're gonna have this year and a QB that can manage and make the occassional play they'll be pretty good. The run game looks sick. If I can't get AP or Turner my next pick in fantasy is gonna be Gore. haaaa.

That's true. But their defense wasn't bad last year and they added some good defensive players from Dallas. And their offense looks a lot better. I think the'll suprise some people this year. I'm not saying their gonna make playoffs and be all bada$$ I'm just saying they're gonna be a lot better from last year

He's not the guy. It's Hill.... for now.

Don't forget that Davis was out there against the 3rd line and some guys that won't even make the team. Good solid athlete but he's not ready yet.

I think they'll compete. Hell just based on the talent of the young D and Gore alone. Now if they can get dumb *** crabtree going and get solid corner play they might win some games.

me too. If they don't, someone will pick him up. Hell they'd be smart to sign him. Give him a few carries a game and trade him down the line for a draft pick. At the very least.

I'm sure he'd be fine to play special teams and pick up a play here and there until he gets a break. I see him as the type of guy that people might forget about until he gets an injury start and goes for 140 yards. haaa.
