I don't trust it. Samsung's processing is just not up to par, it's relatively substandard from experience. For $1400 you can pay less for a Vizio VW42LF or pay slightly more for a Sony Z Series.

Overall much happier with the performance as a monitor

BTW this is a sick thread. Perfect timing since I'm def picking up at least a 40in before X-mas. Hoping to get 1080p and something that will make DVDs and the PS3 look nice. Also hoping to spend not much more north of $1000 before tax ;p
