Speed Element is right there in Fremont. That's where I got my 30K done.

I would suggest to go to Lic Motorsports in Novato. They do a great job and are very thorough. I am due for my 30k service in about 2k miles and that's where I am going. The base price for the 30k service is $350 and it's $125 more the performance service, which says it uses only the best synthetic oils. You can look at it yourself at licmotorsports.com

Yea thats a little expesive everyone has a favorite shop mine happens to be GST in Hayward but youll get a better price from people who actually know how to work on Subarus as opposed to a dealership.

If you are going to a dealership for service, I recommend Capitol Subaru. They are a bunch of stand-up guys. Here is a link to a coupon on their site for 15% off for 30k service. It drops the price down to $485. http://www.capitolsubarusj.com/AdWizardAd/5552954

No matter how far I live I'm gonna get my services done at LICmotorsports. But the other shops mentioned are reputable too. Don't get it done at a dealership.

If you don't mind going to a "smaller" shop (i.e. run out of the back of a 76 station), I'd highly recommend 123 Auto Service in San Francisco. Ask for Steven - he specializes in Subarus.

I did mine at AutoHQ-- http://www.autoheadquarter.com/index.html

Cheaper than the dealer even with new iridium plugs & synthetic oil!
