2nd CEL :(
Damn, I think my STi is brokez0r. Last time Kenley cleared my CEL it said gas cap... but I always let it click 3 times. Tonight I got one again on 680 on my way home. However, this time it was 2 minutes after I did a double clutch to 4th gear to see what rpm's it would be at (and boy did I hit 100 fast from 80 MPH into 4th). I don't know why it went off. Kenley, help .
I think I'm going to have to call Subaru. I baby my car and this has happened twice .
Oil change at 1K, then again at 3K. Two cels within a week . I also have no mods in my car. This is teh suckz0r .
Sheist...

I would definately get that checked out. Maybe your car is a lemon. I would not want a car that throws 2 CEL's in a week with especially when it doenst ahve any mods. Take it to the dealer but dont clear the codes.

I've only cleared one. It might have been the gas cap the first time. It said gas cap, low pressure when we checked it.
I'm going to take it to the dealer. While we're at it... anybody know of any good obd2 readers for laptops? I want to get one now that this crap keeps on happening.

im telling you charlie, its the plates. your car really doesnt like it.
you got 3 more until its finally 5. hahahaha
but any woo, definitely bring it to the dealer and have them check it out. have you tried clearing it yourself? just reset the ecu and see if it comes back.

We'll check it but not clear it
Charlie,
Don't worry, this time I won't clear the CEL, but we should look at it and see if it's a new code, or the same. You probably still should take it back to the dealer as they might be able to do something (probably clear the code and do nothing else - har har).

yeah charlie, take it to the dealer. that is kinda re-***-u-lous that the light came back. you may jsut have a bad gas cap, but if that is the case, make sure the dealer takes care of it. dont loose any sleep over it, you STILL have a perfectly good warranty!

His code turned out to be Evaporative System Malfunction (P?????) Not only could it be the gas cap, it could also be that seal that goes around the fuel pump is leaking and is not holding pressure.
