hmmmmm

I thought that you should tighten the gas cap atleast 4 clicks minimum. That's what I have always been told.

I would definately get that checked out. Maybe your car is a lemon. I would not want a car that throws 2 CEL's in a week with especially when it doenst ahve any mods. Take it to the dealer but dont clear the codes.

We'll check it but not clear it

Charlie,
Don't worry, this time I won't clear the CEL, but we should look at it and see if it's a new code, or the same. You probably still should take it back to the dealer as they might be able to do something (probably clear the code and do nothing else - har har).

yeah charlie, take it to the dealer. that is kinda re-***-u-lous that the light came back. you may jsut have a bad gas cap, but if that is the case, make sure the dealer takes care of it. dont loose any sleep over it, you STILL have a perfectly good warranty!

His code turned out to be Evaporative System Malfunction (P?????) Not only could it be the gas cap, it could also be that seal that goes around the fuel pump is leaking and is not holding pressure.
