wait for a good deal... I had one at 24 one, a lame one, but it was like $140 to join and then $30 a month, but I could only work out Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday. It was also only a one gym membership.

yeah, i have to agree that relationships can add some lbs to a person. the drama, the eating out, the drama... i had membership to 24 hour. had to pay $150 which included my first three months and all months after were $25. i dunno if it's a good deal, but after speaking with alot of other people seems to have been better than most. it included access to all gyms 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.
tommy and i were thinking about joining the gym so if you come across a good deal let me know.

i would wait for a good deal to pop up but all the muscle i've had two years ago... have all turned into FAT. if i wait any longer, i'd look like fat bastard in austin powers. =(
I just tried calling 24hr fitness. they seem pretty adamant about NOT giving a quote on the phone. a month ago, i heard there was a deal for 3 years at $650 and then $40 a year after.

My girlfriend and I joined 24 together a while back. It's a one time pay so it's a lot for one time but if you do the math it's really cheap overall. We both have a 3 year membership to all the clubs in the country except for like 2 which one is in San Ramon and the other in texas I believe. We each paid around $800 for a year and received 2 years free so if you divide $800 by 36 months it's about $22. The $800 includes enrollment and everything. After the three years they either offer you $25/month or $99/month depending on how much of a pain in the butt they want to be.

if any of you guys work for big companies around the area check with your hr people. some corp sponsored memberships for 24 hour include no signup/enrollment fee and you only pay $19/month for any and all clubs any days of the week.
that's how i got my 24 hour membership, but i just cancelled mine because i just moved to a complex that has a pretty decent gym.

I'm a District Fitness Manager for 24 Hour
Hey fellas,
You are in luck, I am a District Fitness Manager for 24 Hour Fitness. I can let you know when the specials are, who to talk to and who is the best trainer...if you can afford to buy rims/tires/suspension/engine mods for your Subies you can damn well afford to hook your body up with the SAME THING...if you car IS tight but you let your body go...they cancel each other out...wouldn't you agree? Take care of your body's like you do your car...you can always get another Subaru. Whoever is interested, PM me.

i signed up with 24hr fitness last month...got in on their special -- $750 for 3 years (paid up front) and then every year after that is $50/yr! i figure it's worth it cuz i've belonged to a gym for as long as i can remember, so the chances of me cancelling my membership is nil after the first 3 years.
