There is nothing illegal about having a RHD car. You can convert a car to RHD all day long and its perfectly legal.
Motorex hasnt legalized a car in a LONG ****ing time and they still have a ton of peoples' cars locked up at their place but Hiro already has their money. At this point in time there is no way for anyone to legalize skylines. Sean at RBMotoring is working on it but the DOT is a big and slow organization.
There are plenty of places and ways to register a JDM car, the problem is none of them make the car federally legal.

There's a differnce between converting and importing/legalising though.
Basiclly, Sean Morris left MotoRex. About that time a new group of people started working at the DOT. Since Motorex was the first company to really make it all work, no one really knew what was okay and what wasn't. The last group had okayed cars that shouldn't be okayed and the new group isn't doing that. There in lies the problem. Sean appears to be the one who figured out the paperwork a while back and he's not there anymore. Although since Hiro has dropped the ball, Sean has decided to figure it all out again and get the held Skylines to there owners.
Please understand that this informatiion is cobbled togetgher from four differnt forums and threads, FreshAlloy.com, JDMsupercars.com, SkylinesDownUnder, nope just three. It's hard to keep this all straight.
