Zero experience is required. You can just show up and have a TON of fun. I believe your motorcycle helmet will fulfill the requirements, but even if it doesn't there are usually a few loaner helmets to use while you're there.

BUT, Motorcycle helmets are a no-go. You need SA2005 or better. I'll have a bunch of loaners there. Paul always has a bunch of new ones if you want to buy one.
Paul is currently running ALCAN 5000 for the next 10 days, so its still going to be a while before his website is up and running proper like.

Date change noted. Hoping my work schedule allows it!
Here's what the rally-x course looks like from space:
shadow of last years course - run counter clockwise (set view to satellite and zoom in to see the course)
Some elevation change to keep it interesting. Should be a lot drier in June than it was last year in April - the mud was fun though.

Yes, June 22-24 which is what I posted back on 3/27 and changed the original subject title to reflect that.
remember,
Friday night is classroom time to discuss driving techniques, theory, and some good rally stories from Paul.
Saturday is driving from about 9am to 4pm, with a break for lunch and Paul usually has a TSD set up getting you to/from lunch. You WILL be sore from driving.
Sunday is a rally cross where you get to test your new found skills against your classmates and other NorCal competitors.
SUNDAY is open to EVERYONE, especially non-student noobs who want to try out driving in anger in the dirt but maybe you can't make the whole weekend for whatever reason.
If anyone wants to just come by and check out the cars (there's always a few fully prepped rally cars there...mine, Paul's and I'm sure a few others will show up) and just SPECTATE, that's totally cool and FREE to just chill out with us.
