I been a fan of all the years. Each one has its pros and cons.
I came into the scene in 05, so I didn't witness the birth of the 04/05. However, I hated the pictures of the 06/07 models, but they started to grow on me (still not my favorite, and wouldn't trade mine for one). The 08/09/10's I hated the pictures, but the STi grew on me. That's the STi though. Even after seeing them in person, the WRX's still look like ****. As we always say though, who bought a Suby for good looks?

This new shot has everything I felt was missing on the 08/09/10's for the WRX.

011 looks exactly like the 08 minus wide fenders.

Which does wonders for the overall styling.

I guess if that's all that matters to ya. U can get a Chrysler 300 or charger if that's what's important

I agree, I would have never considered a new WRX before this change. This makes it pretty perfect, and the flared fenders + increased track changes everything. The STi was too expensive and I dislike the interior. Sure I didn't buy my Subaru for looks, but I would not buy an '08, '09 or '10 because of the looks - meaning the styling was enough to remove all interest.

I wonder what they have planned for the STi...

OneManArmy - shouldn't you buy Rat's FXT????

I'm having a little bit of trouble understanding that. Because I like the aggressiveness that the fenders give the WRX, I should buy a 300 or Charger?

I still don't get it though. I never said the looks were all that mattered. I said that the appearance element was what was missing from the WRX, which is an otherwise good car.

Came out wrong on my part. Basically you said current one looks like ****, new one looks great.

Only visual change I can see is the fenders. Thus making it seem like thats what was most important visually. Dont get me wrong, I think it looks sick.

Other visuals all looks similar to the ZeroSports wrx even the fenders.

I really hope this one wont be almost 30k

One of my favorite changes is the grille.

Discuss.

very nice subaru! i am encouraged by this. the wide fenders (and that alone) is a huge step for them to take. VERY smart.
