Sorry, but the 08's are gonna be Subarus version of Windows Vista or New Coke.
Glad to see Subaru finally come to their senses, I hope along with going back to a widebody they also fired whoever there decided that after 6 years of selling boatloads of WRXs in the US that we were all misguided and what we really wated to drive were Toyotas

Anybody have any info if the 2011 hatchback WRX will have the STi body as well? The article just mentions WRX in general, only picture is of a sedan..

new widebody hatch is sick. but i still like the look of the 09 front grille/bumper area. i hope they offer the oem trim options for the front grille/bumper for the 2011's, which i'm sure they will.

I think it's a good move, especially with the new STI options they're putting out.

Hell I'd consider getting a wrx now. I was pretty much sold on not even looking at one and was gonna wait on the legacy turbo diesel. haaaaa. Next car is probably gonna be a forester anyways. Putting rear facing baby seats in wrx's sucks.

AGREED! the car seat would never fit quite right and i would have to scoot up my seat so close to the steering wheel that i looked like a grandma driving a wrx!

If I put the seat behind my seat I can't fit. I have to have it behind the passenger seat and it makes it so no one over 5' 3" will fit in the passenger seat. Wife's VW is no better.

So hopefully by years end we'll have a forester. Waiting on the 2011 influx. Snag a 2009 lease return.

Doing research at this very second on how to lower it. haaaa.

Well, so much for buying a 2010 wrx, might as well wait for 2011 models! Or wait for guys with 08-10 STi's to trade in their hatchy's for what may be STi sedans.

.....corrected......

I'm 5'4", and I just fit.

then again, i sit up, and don't really lean back, so you just might be right

back on topic...dayum, that looks sweet. so these are the changes that happen...one year too late (mid-cycle refresh was due 2010), but then again our WRX's/STI's are all essentially one-year production cycle variants anyways...

It seems like every year a new model comes out people either flame on the old ones or the new. They seem to be convinced their year is the best until they them selfs get the new model.

I been a fan of all the years. Each one has its pros and cons.
