LOL at the salesman crack. Seriously, 90% on this board know more about every nut and bolt on these cars, we know every spec, advantages, disadvantages. We know everything about them. So you go to a dealership with an expectation that a salesman needs to tell you something that you don't know. Seeing as how we know everything, what do you expect a salesman to sell you. You're there to buy a car. You know what you're going to get, why even deal with the salesman. Go straight to the sales manager, discuss terms and buy your car. At this point anyone dealing with a salesman to buy their car is a moron....

So I'm a moron all of a sudden? Good point, I did already know most of the info I wanted to hear, but he couldn't even tell me the differences between base model and the limited model. Someone asked him how much clearance the WRX has and he said "17 inches" LOL. I'm assuming he thought clearance=rim size?
Anyways, I wasn't necessarily wanting to be blown away by his knowledge, but I expected him to know at least a little bit more. We had to test drive the car, and get a feel for it first. I'm not about to just walk in, ask for the sales manager, and talk numbers without knowing what the car will be like.
I just don't understand where all this hostility is coming from. Are you the sales man at Capitol Subaru I talked to?

the price of the car is $1000 below invoice. stevenscreek try to sell the car or "sold" the car to the customer when they didn't even get the car. this is why turlock subaru closed down, because stevenscreek is losing money to sell cars.

if this deal went through, its a pure lost.
