What was the temperature on the dyno?
No one knows, so it may not be as big a factor as thought.
All things being equal, I see a 1 point delta per degree change in temp.
A proper water/alcohol injection system is dead reliable.

Snow performance and aquamist both have a flow meter fail safe, the best failsafe out there IMO. Flow will tell you if there is is no fluid, low fluid, pump broken, clogged nozzle, etc
Only thing it cant do is let you know if the line after the meter is broken or if the nozzle some how backs out of its bung (seen this on 1 forum, nozzle backed out somehow, motor grenades)

i got a buddy who has an Evo 9 on stock turbo runs 100 octane every day. he drives his car stanford to south san jose everyday hahaha i have quite alot of friends runs on 100 octane on thier cars every day.. haha

but im pretty sure your buddy street race.. if a someone picks on him on the road im sure he will go at it.

My aquamist system has been installed for ~40K miles without incident.
