The article says he died due to ventricular leak. The shot penetrated through to his heart.

thats not rite man now da kid is gonna grow up with no daddy and he might find out later if they tell him that he shot his own father now thats really bad...

Jokes aside, here are the three things I took away from this:
1. Too bad the kid wasn't using a machine pistol like a Glock 18 fully automatic 9mm. Even though the guy died, he deserved more than one bullet.
2. Have these idiots ever heard of using BLANKS? Why on earth would they use live ammo to shoot up into the air?
3. Now the kid has to live with the fact that he killed his own father and even has it on video... although the kid deserved a kick to the groin for that, he doesn't deserve that. Oh well, welcome to life, kid.
