Also.....try not to RACE through traffic....its not safe for you, your passengers and especially to the other drivers on the road. [/QUOTE]
By saying traffic, I just meant we weren't the only ones on the road. It was on a four lane stretch of 80 East. Yeah, I'm not the type to be jeopardizing lives.
So....I've got swaybar and suspension as the recommended first mods. I really thought someone might have said exhaust or manual turbo or something. I'm all ears. I've got a few weeks before anything will be done. I think I want to do a little work on the engine and suspension before I go with wheels. I kind of want to be fast before I look fast if you know what I mean. What are everone's thoughts on the stock alarm. Car theft is pretty rampant here in Sac, one of the top 5 cities in the nation. I've actually experienced it first hand with my Civic. Unfortunately, I got it back (DAMN!!!!!!). I'm hooking up with some sound this weekend, but I'm thinking maybe an upgraded alarm first. I heard compustar is good. Do you all think it is necessary? I'm not going to be investing a couple $K in a system. Oh, any comments on the stock short throw shifter, that came in the package when I bought it.

you may wanna get the KB bushing for that OEM rubber one. when i got my KB (KARTBOY) SS, i opted for the bushing. it was like nite and day.
btw, i also have that slightly used KB SS for sale too (no bushing though), besides the slightly used ROTA SUBZEROS.
