15x7 Whos running this?
15x7 is lighter AND cheaper.
does anyone use this for the street, im mainly just asking for pictures i guess. I autocross and have no money so this is why i want a 15x7.
whats an inch to save hundreds of dollars.

I've considered going from 16x7 on the street to 15x7, but racing on 15x7's is just not worth it, you'd have to run a really thick walled sidewall to get any soft of good overall diameter.
stick to 16 or 17 for racing.

so your saying i NEED to keep my OEM overall dyameter?
for example, i COULDNT run 15 inch wheels even though they are same dyameter at all four corners? is it because everything will spin at a higher speed and wear on my car quicker?

i know for the OEM overall diameter you would need extra sidewall on a 15", but isnt it ok for ANY overall diameter as long as all 4 corners have the same OD?
The tire shops just tell you to stick with the OEM OD to cover their *** in case a car warranty issue gets traced back to the tires that they shouldnt have put on, right?
if your telling me to keep the OD the same because of my speedometer accuracy, i dont really care about that.

Bigger issue with 15s is that hardly any of them will clear stock WRX brakes...most will clear stock RS brakes (smaller).
Shame too, since a shorter tire can help in the WRX gearing for autocross (which a shorter tire would make 2nd more useful on most SCCA courses)....

Japanparts.com has them at US $107.75 each. But if they are just Forester spares, then can see if state side venders carry them.

What a rip off..you can get used wheels cheaper and they would weigh less.

Smaller diameter will be slower than speedo says, mileage on your gauge cluster will roll faster (will show more mileage on car than you actually will have), and top speed will be lower.

Yeah i want them for an autoX set, maybe some street.
sucks about the odometer, i didnt even think about that.

at 15", if you were going to race on them, you'd want a stiff sidewall, but the OD would be way too short. So to have something acceptable, you'd have to run a fairly thick sidewall.
