mike, dont worry, unless she has some really good evidence that your a a fat druggie and that you are incapable of taking care of the kid, you will at least get them on weekends and holidays. thats the least that will happen unless she has some serious evidence against you.
The only reason i know is cause i am the child of one of those court hearings, and I have also seen this happen to other guys i know. the judge will view the evidence and unless you are incapable of even taking care of yourself or have serious drug related problems. the worst they can give you is the "weekends and holidays with the kids only".

that totally blows. my dad is going through a custody battle for my litte sister right now. I hate to say it...but courts favor the mothers. my sister's mother (not my mom) is dumb as a freakin door **** (like with some undiagnosed mental issue or something) and somehow the court hasnt given my dad full custody. but like wrxisthebest said...unless you're a total druggie abusive father, the most she can do is joint custody. make sure there is a court order saying that the child is ONLY to be with the mother OR the father at all times...she might try and pull some crap like hiding the baby with a baby sitter so you cant get him. my dad called the cops, and they told him it was totally okay for her to do that. I wish you the best of luck...I know situations like this are SO tough. Hang in there.

Yes I know karma does come back to haunt you. I have alot going on to help secure my boys future, I cant give details out right now. She's a i-club/nasioc memeber.
But all this drama just has me wanting to walk away saying. OK you win. I dont want any drama for my baby. If there is less stress for him without me then that is the better route. I want him to live a stress free life.
This afternoon will be the hardest day of my life. Lastnight was the worst and I am sure tonight will be just as hard.

So court was today,
My Lawyers were tied up in cases today, So I had to go alone, Was worried but really no big deal.
She had a high dollar lawyer. I had myself.
She wanted to give me 3 days for 3 hours a day.
I walked away with Joint Custody and 5 days a week and every other sunday, Her plan backfired.
So this is for the next 30 days then both my lawyers will be ready to go.
Shes already disputing the court order about the pit bull, Doesnt seem to think a uncollared, unlic. 100 lb Pit bull is unsafe around a new born, Judge seem to think otherwise. And my vist time about me going for a walk with him she doesnt want which is in the court order. So we may be back in court next week. I really hope not. That Judge was very nice but NO Joke...

NEVER think that being without you is best for jr..that''s 100% wrong...fight every opportunity to spend time with jr because the truth about his WAPCE mum will become obvious as he gets older and by the time he is a teenager you and child will be cracking jokes at WAPCE's expense...

That is such BS that there is a father who actually wants to support & raise his kid & she takes you to court? She needs to think of what is best for the baby & put her own petty issues aside. Even though you shouldn't have to fight to see your own son I wish you all the luck.

I wish you the best of luck. My sister was in that position for a while - ex is a druggie, but ex's new G/F decided that "they" wanted to fight for custody of the kids.
What they didn't understand is that my sister is not only a mama bear when defending her children, but is backed up by some SERIOUS resources. Long story short, when all was said and done, scumbag dad relinquished ALL RIGHTS to the children!!!
You do the same. You fight for what's best for the child, and hopefully the same happens for you. Never quit fighting until she's begging for mercy to see the kid...
...then keep that b**ch on a short leash.
