Why do people looooove street racing. There is nothing to prove. YOU did not build your car, the car companies did. You probably did not tune it yourself, you did not build the parts, you just put them together. You just put money in it. (Although if you drag on the track, atleast shifting and reaction time play a role) You are not better than the other person by having more money. There is no skills involved, there is nothing to brag about. If it's a "having more ***** thing", then play russian roulette, idiots. If racers love racing so much, take it to the track where skills play a roll.
Street racing is for those who were never good at sports, and take the easy route thinking they have some sort of skills. Any athlete will appreciate time spent practicing and improving upon a variable they can control. If they race on the track or autox or even drag at the track, atleast practicing WILL make you better. I'm so sick of street racing, when I grow up, make lots o money, I'm starting a organization against street racing. Free track days and autocross, bring time trials and autoxing to the media, popularize road racing.

im so glad it wasnt a trueno when i saw it in the news, i saw the pop up headlights, and trees lining the road, but thankfully it wasnt a mountain road and it was a silly honda accord.

I do, money. We tried approaching our city on countless occasions to get something going, legal drag races, autox, etc. but they won't have nothing to do with it, then I spoke to someone off the record, and they told me that if I were to make a political contribution to a certain someone that that may sway their opinion on the "problem" or lack thereof with street racing in the city...
