great preventative maintinance
as for octane boosters...they will screw with your fuel system/lines and fuxor your engine in general. The only "octane booster" I would ever consider is meth injection, but the power levels are right on par with 100 octane

Found another gas station that sells 100 unleaded, 110 leaded, and 114 leaded. It is off the andrade exit in Sunol on 680. Going from Livermore to San Jose, you will get off at andrade, go back over the freeway and there she blows. A little run of the mill gas station that throws down sunoco fuel!
the 100 was $5.89
110 was $5.99
114 was $50 for 5 gallons that you had to buy inside.
