1 gallon of toulene will accomplish the same as 2-2.5 gallons of 100 octane, depending how many gallons you add at the same time. I use 1 gallon per 11 of 91 and it gives me 93 octane (I fill up at 1/4 tank).

$7 a gallon?? It's $5.59 at 76 gas stations, and they use Torco at the pump. There is one in Redwood city and another in San Jose that I know of.

Doesn't running higher octane gas burn hotter, and would make your egt higher, hence the burning of plugs, o2 sensors, and valve train.

I think i read on iwsti somewhere that the GD sti ecu is capable of compensating up to 96 octane? the 76 that has 100 is right by my work so I've been putting in a ilttle over 3 gallons on my fills to get to 93, though it's like $6.30 a gal at the redwood city one and I don't think I've ever seen it below $6

corn liquor is around 110+ octane and it's $2.50/gallon
unless you are tuned for the fuel, it will most likely not do anything

Same here... but if I'm upgrading the injectors and getting a new tune I might as well throw on a 30r and intercooler as well. Damn this car stuff adds up fast.
