It's so easy to talk **** on the internet, anyone can do it. All I'm saying is, get to know the man first before calling him names.
I'll be at GST's dyno day. Stop by and say hello.

That's what my father-in-law said when I showed up at X-Mas dinner.
He drives a Ford, so I don't blame him for the built-up anger.

If it were a company like Stevens Creek Screwbaru, who had a long and thorough history of screwing over customers, I could see the bashing. It's a company, who, until VERY RECENTLY enjoyed prosperity and a highly thought of reputation in the Subaru community. I'd like to see what the outcome is by this time next week before judging...

mob mentality or not I personally have experienced it first hand, and having read the posts so have quite a few others. Sorry but i think this is hilarious, Karma at it's finest. Got what was deserved.

For me, I've never been to Gruppe-S and I plan to keep my car stock for awhile, but IF I did plan to mod my car I'd definitely want to take it somewhere that guarantees 100% satisfaction (definitely a high expectation to meet).
It's helpful to me (who has no experience) when customers compliment or complain about a vendor. Someone who had an extremely bad experience won't deter me from going there if other people have better things to say about the vendor. Collectively, as a whole, it helps me to be a better consumer. So, I thank you for sharing your experiences.

Update: Gary has gone out of his way to make sure I'm a happy camper. He had my car towed up there, made sure I had a car for the weekend, and was very amiable despite the poo flinging that has gone on in this thread. I'm a very easy person to please and I suppose I was going more from emotion than anything, but I still don't particularly like the mechanic, nor do I approve of what what done to my car, but I can say the Gary went above and beyond to make sure I am squared away.
Cliff notes: Am I happy what happened to my car? No. Am I pleased with how the mishap is being handled? Absolutely.
I'll give a final update and summation when I get my car back.
