From a side by side comparison the 02/03 Sti hood scoop looks identical to the 06 WRX scoop.
A stock 02/03 USDM hood scoop is shorter. (again, pretty sure that the 02/03 will fit on the 06/07. Not sure if the outside lines are the same or not. I'll take a look at my buddies 06 TR in the morning )
