@ Stevens Creek Subaru, hope this will be good news

Currently sitting in the waiting room of the dealer as my car awaits to be touched.

Excessive rear drum noise when applied force whether its moving or not, a lot more noise than I thought is normal. Anthony will be working on it, i just can hope, lets make some presumptions... lol!

Capitol denied the same claim cause of my suspension, so here I am at Stevens Creek with the referral from Anthony.. =)

What? Keep us informed because drum brake and suspension have nothing to do with each other.

Huh? The website says front and rear disks for the 2.5i.

Maybe they are talking about the parking brake drum that's inside the rear disk?

Correct. 4 wheel disk and the parking brakes works on a drum within the rear hub.

Looks like -1 for Capital, there has to be a rating system of bay area stealerships with personal experience.

I had some OEM subaru parts I bought from a different Subaru dealership (out of town). I tried returning them at Capitol and they looked at me like I asked them to **** their teenage daughter and told me to contact the original dealer.

I thought any dealer could do OEM returns.

Returning parts you bought at one dealer to a different dealer isn't likely something any dealer will do. Subaru doesn't own the dealerships. They're all franchises.

If I didn't buy the part initially Subaru won't let me return it. That means that if the dealer took it back they'd be stuck with it. It's sort of like buying something at Best Buy and returning it to Fry's. Fry's doesn't want to give you money that they never collected from you to begin with. It would be like them buying whatever item it was from you.

Maybe that helps understand that situation a little bit.
