Jared,

Most of the time you will go with a group of people. In that group you may have two guys running in B session and maybe 3 guys running in C session. So you just kinda watch each others backs if you know what I mean. But I can say that I've never been to concerned about it. Most people that are at the events are not there to jack someones stuff. It just ain't right. I've been to 7 track events and it's like a familey event and it's all cool and laid back. I'm not saying leave your digital DV or anthing laying around but it's all good 99% of the time.

My experience is like Lowball. Never had anything taken at the track, since the people there are like-minded with you and there for the event. But you could bring one of those cheap blue tarps to throw over your stuff while you are away. Keeps temptation out of sight.
