MZM, no worries...I was just throwing the question up in the air. I already know my car is better than Alex's. LOL j/k.

But yes, I agree...we are going to have fun, we should enjoy it.

thanks for the reply

ps. Stroker, I would think that Easy Street would tow in...that beast would suck soooo much gas, just to get there. lol

Alright,

So everyone going on the track is goign to get an instructor. Does that mean every time we're out on the track we have to have an instructor or can we bring another passenger along??

Also, will the instructors drive our cars to show us how to drive on the track, because that happened to my friend when he went???

If anyone knows i would really like to know!!

"everyone going on the track is goign to get an instructor"

Not everyone, only if you need one because you are new or ask for one.

"every time we're out on the track we have to have an instructor"

No

" can we bring another passenger along??"

Yes when the instructors clear you. Safety first.

At least, that is how its done by all the other organizations that sponser track days. But what do I know? Its not my gig.

I can't remember were they going to have inspections at the track?
Also
For anyone that has been to Buttonwillow.
How are the pit areas? Large, small, secured, etc............
Just debating if I should leave my sub at home, and worry about my tools and spare while I'm away.

I will clarify this with Alex before the event, but this is the deal about instructors as I remember it after talking to Alex about the event:

*Group C drivers will have to have instructors with them for at least their first 2 or 3 sessions, if not all day.

*I will try to get a list of total qualified instructors that will be present. The goal is at least 15.

*If you get the chance to have an instructor ride with you, regardless of your experience, I would take it. There's always something to learn.

Only Alex can officially update the list. Both PayPal and personal check payments can only be verified by him.

Not too late, but I'd get that deposit to Alex. PayPal or check, with checks sent to address in first post.
