Anyone have a room to share at the motel 6 that I can share?
(I just looked at some maps for the track.... Alot of straights, that means theres no way ill race unless this kit is on my car, which isnt going to get done in time for sure... That just means ride alongs and lots of pic taking

No, they are not. Most, if not all, folks will be driving their cars to the event. Most of us are use our cars as daily drivers. There will be some race-worthy subies there, however.

So,,,,, Will the daily drivers be judged against the "towed race-worthy subies?
I think that if you tow your car to this event, you should be "exibition" only. Apples to Apples!

I think it's "run whatcha brung."
People trailer cars for different reasons; it's not always becasue the car is undrivable on the street. I know people who will trailer their daily driver to an event, becuase if you're 6 hours from your home/shop, and you blow something up, or go off, you don't want to be stuck there.

It's one of those things that I would always consider if I had the option.
It's also worth noting that this is a track day, not a race. The only competitive portion is gonna be the tuner shootout, which is going to be something of an exhibition in its own right, as we watch the best of the best try to show each other up

What about the "show"? Are the "shop" cars going to to be in with the regular cars? The "shop" cars have just about everything made for the WRX on, that most normal people cant afford...so it might not be too fair....
