havent posted for awhile but just to inform everyone, everyday since last week on Saratoga and 280 there is multipal chps including motorcycles and an undercover G35 smoked lights and windows with a notable red and blue light in both the front and rear windshields they seem to only be pulling poeple over for seatbelt violations and missing front lic. plate. just a fyi for those of you that travel that area.

so what will happen when i dont pull over for them, get off at a road that goes up to skyline and lose them?
arent you supposed to not stop for unmarked vehicles for your safety?
I sure as hell wouldnt stop for an unmraked crown vic, now that all these low life gangsters are driving them
my friends dad has a brand new heavy duty white Ford pickup, with a blue/red lightbar in his grill, when its lit up that is...i wouldnt be surprised if others had them.

Yep, if they want to send an unmarked non-standard issue vehicle after me. I'll lead them to the nearest CHP/PD/Sherrifs office & then stop.

that sucks, 280 is like a trap now because there is so much room, not to mention 3 sniper vista ramps.
Maybe i'll use 101 for SF from now on...and play bumper cars.

if you get lit up by a unmarked car, dial 911 and let them know that someone behind you has red and blue lights, but that you do not feel safe pulling over for an unmarked car.
usually a black and white will come along and make the stop themselves.

this is true, but keep something in mind. If you call from a cellphone it automatically transfers to CHP instead of the local PD. i know you probably wont know which agency is pulling you over, but just know this information when you finally do stop and the officers talk with you.

I have a few friends in law enforcement and I asked them on a few occasions whether or not I should pull over for an unmarked and their response was "if it does not have distinguishing marks on the front doors, do not pull over unless you feel it is safe to do so. You can drive to the nearest PD, FD or Sheriff's office and await a marked car to make the tag."
I was pulled over by a Detective in an unmarked car once, I immediately called Los Altos PD, drove to my house before I pulled into the driveway and waited for an LAPD car before I got out of my car.
The Detective was livid that I didn't pull over sooner and I explained that I did not feel safe - marked officer told the Detective that is within my rights.
In fact - with the rise in police impersonation - you can argue not to pull over for ANY car until you have confirmation it is a legitimate police officer.
