Q's about fender flares and motor

Drove my friend's 22B this past weekend at the track. What a machine! It's a RHD so shifting left handed took some getting used to.

I'd like to turn this...http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=31868 into a posing 22B. Biggest hurdle I see is the "car". :-o

More importantly how do I get some box fenders!?

if you search around a company makes wide body conversion for the impreza. i dont recal which one tho. it was expensive tho but thats just me

There were 2 22B wide body kits for the GC8 Impreza on ebay just a couple days ago.

Unfortunitely for you and I the kit is made for the 4 door. I have never seen a 22B kit made for a 2-door.

Stever on the "other" subaru site is making a 2door wide body kit. That kit is juicy.

Doluck makes 30mm wider front fenders for the 2.5 RS. Adam at Z-1 Performance can get them for you. My friend at a body shop is currently installing them on an 2.5RS. I will sned picture when it is done.

The only problem is...

The do-luck's are only for the front. I plan to do the front and rear myself. Once the four door kit done. It's a good thing it's take almost 3 yrs. Now i'll have the money when stever finally finishes the four-door kit.

Yep, stever's kits got to be one if not THE best kit going for the gc8's.......

Wow this is a nice lookingsetup Stever has there. I remember way back when he first started on it.

I sure hope the pricing for the fiberglass kit is significantly less then the carbon fiber one. Otherwise that is way out of my reach. $3750 + shipping, at that rate Stever will sell probably 2 kits.

Imagine seeing big 10" wide tires and wheels to match underneat an impreza.

Trial makes an interesting, but funky looking widebody kit for the 2 door Impreza. It's called the Try-R Impreza. Its pricey at $8k for the kit, but that's up to the buyer to decide.
