Opinions on this setup please!
I intend to buy the AVO turbo kit for my 2000 RS but I am not going to use the LINK ECU that comes with it. I do not like the idea of cutting up my wiring harness, plus the car won't pass the OBDII emissions test we have here in Texas. I really don't like the idea of using a RRFPR either but I may go that route. I want opinions of this secondary injector controller. What are your thoughts on using this as the means of supplimental fuel when under boost? I will probably use the two injector system like Larry Ganz did. Opinions please!

It is a good idea. Stock ECU for <2 psi, and SDSEFI adds fuel for over 2 psi.
If you plan to run over 6 psi you will want a timing controller to go with the setup.
I am going up to 4 extra injectors with an injector controller on my new 8.5:1 motor, and the stock ECU with 4 injectors but the ECU will be modified for 7800rpm redline.

For about $500 torquechip.com will modify them for us for a higher rev limit. For about $700 they will include a torque chip built into the ECU, including the MAP sensor voltage clamp for allowing you to run boost.
This second option is what I went with.
Email me if you wish to order or have further questions.

fact and fiction
I lived in dallas, texas. and my 99 RS had a PDM turbo kit (VF 23)on my car with their torque chip, and passed emisions without a problem. the motor was stock, and i would run 6 psi daily and 10 on the track with race gas (pulling 13.1's). I had no problems for over 20 thousand miles, then i sold the kit and the car.

I believe the reason for AVO using the link 1 piggy back as opposed to the link 2 stand alone of so you WILL pass obdII emissions tests. The OBDII reader will see the stock ecu.
