more horsepower
I just currently put on the avo turboworld stage 2 320 hp kit on my 02 wrx. This consists of turbo back exhaust w/ downpipe, 320 hp avo turbo, TMI, Silicone Intake Hoses, and the link ecu. I was just wondering what anyone would recommend next in the quest for more horsepower. I was thinking the uppipe and maybe headers. But not sure if headers are worth the money, or what. i know i could upgrade the fuel system, but after i did that i wouldn't know how or know where to get it tuned. Any help would be appreciated. thanks

LINK is fully laptop programmable. If you can get to Portland Oregon, we can dyno tune your car if you decide to upgrade. We have injectors and fuel pumps in stock. Which is all you will need to turn up the boost along with some
dyno time.
Thats the response I got from Sean at Rallitek. I'm not 100% sure you would NEED a dyno to tun the car, but it would definatley be the best way. Also, I'm not sure how close you are to Portland, but maybe you could locat a shop within a reasonable distance from you to dyno tune it. Hope this helps!!

I'd do an up-pipe and STI injectors right away. You can retune your link if you have a laptop, or you can buy a hand held programmer. You'd be good for 20-30 more hp with the corresponding boost increases(mild) now available to you.
And why is this in Aftermarket FI man? lol

Fill out your location in your profiles guys, so we know whether or not to bother telling you about places to get tuned. If you can ride to the SF bay area, i-Speed USA and Vishnu are some of the best in the country at stand alone dyno tuning.

I just put a vf30, injectors, fuel rails, fuel pump, headers, up pipe,TXS chip and running 20lbs boost and had it tuned by my mechanic.....and it runs unbelievable....you wont need to dyno it....that is a bunch of money tossed out for no reason.
buy a up pipe and header....worth the money.
Sean is a good guy, and he knows his stuff when it comes to subies.....just look around for prices.....

This is Giamilton on Rallitek's log-in... It's true that thanks to Matrix Engineering ( a high quality VW/Audi tuner) Portland has a mustang dyno for AWD cars here in Portland. They rent by the hour or the day and their prices are resonable.
