Forced Air Tech
I am seriously thinking about turboing my RS. It is a 99rs. It is still as stock as can be, besides my NGK Spark Plugs and brand new Spark plug wire set.
After researching the different turbo kits availible(AVO,FAT,Ludespeed, ect.) I have decided that the one that best fits my needs is the FAT Stage II kit. What other upgrades should i invest in before i buy the turbo kit?? I know i will have to supply a cat-back exhaust, but I have that sitting in my room for now. Anything else i should worry about before spending the boatloads of cash on the kit??

Careful. Stronger clutch plus 250+ pounds of torque means broken gearbox if you aren't careful. It's a good upgrade if you know how to keep your tranny alive though. You should also look into a better radiator.

I heard that the stock injectors will have to much strain with the turbo kit.I hear that another good idea is to upgrade the Injectors, would that be good ?if so what kind/brand are usually recommended?.
Thanks,
Shawn

Also i was wondering, would i have to get a turbo-back exhaust, or would the Stomung that I have work fine?
I dont wanna get stranded last second, i'm trying to cover every little detail before going turbo.

injectors
well on my trubo rs the problem was that it ran lean because the RRFPR that came with the kit was to restrictive and Robert at FAT said to upgrade the RRFPR to a 12:1 ratio or switch to wrx injectors like I did cheaper and wrx injectors are 440cc or something like that and the stockers are like 280.wrx injectors cost about 80 on ebay better then paying over 400 for sti's or Rc's.

Not to preach or be a dick but if the car is totally stock I would say put the turbo on the backburner for now.
Once you add that much engine power to a bone stock car you start to reach the limits of other systems drivetrain, brakes, and suspension among others...
I'd really suggest getting a little bit better feel for the car and all it's systems before slapping on 50+ HP and only realizing your mistake when you break parts or wreck the car...
It also takes alot of skill to drive a car as fast as a turbo RS well... I'd say go out and autocross since you are so close to stock... See if you can reach your limits there before turning your perfectly good RS into an RST on stock springs struts swaybars and brakes...
But again it's your car, do what you feel is right.

I have a FAT stage 3, and I blew up my entire car!! not becuase of the kit, but because I got a little boost happy.. The car ran great, until I turned up the boost to 10.5 psi... then my clutch blew a week later, then I blew my motor, then on my new sti block, My transmission shredded... maybe I have a lemon, but I think I am just abusive.. The kit is FINE if you leave it the way it is.. if you want to up the boost you absolutly have to get bigger injectors. The kit already comes with a 12:1 RRFPR.. Ditch that, and get a stand alone.. or a device that will give you the ability to tune in larger injectors, and to tune out some timing. Hope that helped.
