Anyone have 300 WHP?.....

I was wondering if any of you have a "do it yourself" kit, and have gotten 300+ WHP? What kinda mods did this need, and what kind of Engine Management are you useing?
I have 260 whp, but I would like to get at least 300 -320 whp on an 02 wrx 91 octane

thanks

swap the VF34 for the PE1818 or 1820, headers, fmic or at least a better tmic, get rid of the unichip and get something better like the EcuTeK reflash.

I'm interested to know this as well. I'm a Honda guy by trade, but my boss owns a WRX and I'm really starting to dig Subaru styling. Also, I'm wondering how much power is needed to run high 12's/low 13's? I would think somewhere around 320 or so. Is that about right?

well right now I DO have 380 hp (260) but this depends on Dyno's
if I use someone else Dyno it will read 300+ WHP. Anyway...I am in the Mid to High 12's.

There are guys with different set ups and they are pulling GREAT numbers too...low 13's high 12's.(300 hp or so)... someone with more info will let you know

I know that on my Boss's WRX, the tranny is pretty weak compared to say, a Honda tranny. How much power can the stock tranny hold without killing itself?

well my friend had 500+ and it didnt break,
I have 380 and my tranny just broke.....I was driving slow when it broke too
Never expected it...it was strong.
They have gearsets that are stronger....if someone wanted to get those.
