Draining your radiator
On my 2.5RS, I have discovered a drain with a lever valve (crank?).
It is on the passenger side, pointing out of the radiator towards the fender. It's black. You can see it clearly from the top, but it is hard to turn the lever from the top, I had to reach from the bottom.
First, I put a hose (larger diameter, close to 3/8 in ID, I used some fuel line). When you first start turning, you notice that the flow is slow. DO NOT continue turning to increase the flow. The lever will fall out and you will cover yourself in coolant. Just get some flow, then stop turning, let it drain slowly. Took about 1/2 hour to completely drain the radiator (so the coolant in the engine was not touched).
But you want to drain just a little, right ?
