E&J TwentyFive RS.... plus former project

Well you may be wondering about my handle on here, Stage 2 Legacy.. huH?? Well this was my former Scoob before the RS. I got the car in May 02 before I graduated high school, and didn't do much to it till I got on some forums and then eventually joined i-club. I really liked the car due to the extra room and smooth look to it and it handled better than anything I had ever driven before. You may say why not get the WRX?? Back then the WRX was new and expensive plus I mainly just wanted an AWD car so I could go snowboarding more easily. Now tragically, the day before new years 04 my car got into an accident. Long story short, driving a right turn, semi-wet ground, rear suspension in need of repair, and making a dumb move of driving the car like the suspension was not damaged. Anyways this caused my car to slide into the curb scraping up my wheel and bending the frame underneath. Too bad my car never made it to the dealership since I was going there the next day to repair the suspension. So the car was totalled and I then parted it out and started looking for a 99-01 RS after recieving my insurance money. Here's the mods and a few pics remembering my 1st Subaru, I still miss this car and the fact that I was one of the few who took on a Legacy project.

Now after a few months of searching finally got myself a RS with about 25k on the engine in March 04. The previous owner kept good care of it and it was still bone stock except for a WRX muffler and BFGoodrich G-force KDWS tires. I was soo happy, just had to get used to a 5spd this time which didn't take too long.

Some of the next things I did was swap in some of my Legacy parts like the front strut bar, grounding wires, endlinks, brake pads. Then after I saved up a bit I got the Kartboy shifter w/ bushings, K&N filter, Borla exhaust, WRX 20mm rear swaybar, painted side skirts and a couple of the clear lenses up front. By then the car was becoming even more fun to drive, I knew I was starting myself all over again dumping $$ for mods but whaddaya gonna do =/

KYB AGX + Eibachs installed!!

Finally got the new suspension on the car...whew, what a job. Actually it wasn't too bad took about 3hrs in my garage and with the help of Long_Travel_WRX. Luckily the weekend before when I had a garage sale gave me enough money to buy the springs since I already had the struts lying around for a while. I will post my impression after the alignment and once the setup has a chance to settle some more.

I see you had to zipties your lines to the strut too. Wish somebody would make clips to fit the middle bracket on Goodridge lines. Did you route the lines through the tabs, or use the cut-and-bend method?

I used the cut and bend method, they are all done that way. Just earlier tonight I pulled that zip tie off and bent the bracket better to hold the line in there. Plus I was too lazy to bleed my brakes just did that a few months ago.

Okay I just got my alignment done this morning at Auto Innovations. I went with
front camber -1
front toe 0
rear camber 0
rear toe 0

Still using the stock camber bolts right now and I have the front and rear struts set on their softest setting for a week so the springs can break in.
