Natomas area Mt Hammy Caravan
UPDATES
NEW PICK UP TIME: 7am @ Reed. We leave at 7:15, if you're not there, you'd better drive REAL fast to catch up cuz we're leaving without you. Don't wanna be mean, but we'll get left by the EGKK crew otherwise
Then we head to EGKK and roll with them. Thank you.
Hey, guys, most of the Sac people will be meeting up in the Natomas area for the trip up to Mt. Hamilton. We'll be taking a pretty direct route up there with few, if any stops.
Pick up Point:76 off of Reed Ave. Reed Ave. is the last exit on the west bound side before the 50 interchange (right after Truxel and El Camino). If you're coming from the west, turn left at the stop light after you exit, then take the first left and you'll see 76 on your left. If you're getting off the East bound side, turn left at the stop light after you exit, take the second left and 76 is right there.
Just look for a blinding yellow WRX and you'll know you're in the right spot.
Pick up time: 7am. If you want to get a drink or some grub, show up early as we won't have much time to wait around. There's a starbucks and a fast food place (Jack in the box or something I think) plus a market at the 76 all within walking distance.
If you want to go with the Sac Crew Caravan but you don't want to meet up with us at 76 (maybe you live out near Sonoma..(cough skimonkey), PM me your cell phone and we'll call you when we are approaching the exit of your choosing.
Hope to see you guys there!

Map for Unocal 76 meeting point for Sac/Natomas caravan. Took me a while to map it because friggin' 76.com station locator misspelled the street name.
It's a Harbor Pointe (not Harbour Pointe) Blvd address at Reed Ave, in West Sacramento.

So, you'll both be at the meet Saturday night then? I smell Karts!!!!!
So, is this caravan still happening or not ----> see the Weekly Sac thread for the discussion on combining the EGKK and Natomas caravans into one.

It would be nice if we could get the two caravans together, but I don't know if thats going to happen. Going from Natomas through Stockton to D&B seems like a very indirect route.
It looked like the two caravans would almost hook up, but it seems plan seems to not have worked as some people have expressed an interest to make it to D&B by 10.
For the Natomas caravan to make it to D&B by 10, we would need to leave at or a few minutes before 8:30. To caravan along with EGKK, we would need to leave Natomas an hour earlier.
Not that I mind the extra drive, mind you, I am just pointing out the reasons why some might want two caravans. I'm really up in the air about which caravan I'm going to travel with. I hope this gets resolved before I have to make a decision :P

According to Eric, the EG guys are leaving at 8am. Unless you all want to be in EG by 8am, I suggest keeping the two separate caravans. I'm sure the Reno guys could use an extra hour of sleep. Plus, you know how much fun we have at the Weekly Saturday meets - some of us might be hung over.
