Auto-X Action Shot
Okay, I just did the first round of my changed before the start of the next auto-x season. Replaced the swift springs with Tein Flex. Added Agency Power Stainless Steel Brakelines, Perrin front Sway Bar, and some wider Enkei wheels.
Writeup on my thoughts between the Tein Flex and Swift Springs on stock shocks
When I first put on the new wheels, they rubbed like a little bastard when launching mildly. So, one day after having the Teins installed, I got under the car to raise them up some. Now everything rides great. I was amazed with how easy it was to adjust height, camber, etc. I am impressed.
Paul@DBTuned did the work for me on this latest iteration of my mods. Yay for Paul!

I LOVE THAT CAR!
I'd own one if the situation were different. I think it's one of the most gorgeous looking cars on the road today.
Could you explain the engine cover. That's the intake?
I always try to steer away from being the guy who just HAS to bring up something negative, and in this case there is nothing negative that I have to say about it. I'd just have to do some research about that whole engine cover, intake, intercooler setup if I owned it.
Congrats. Color me green with envy.

The engine cover, as far as I can see, does two things.
First it helps to seal the hoodscoop to the intercooler.
Second, it helps to heatsoak the engine.
I've driven around with out the engine cover, and I really don't notice a difference in performance either way. But, since I was autocrossing in a stock class for a while, I had to leave it on for competition. It'll probably come off soon, now that I am not competing in a stock class.
Here are some pictures from the day I took her home. That night was a meet night, so naturally everyone else probed and prodded the car more then I did.
One of the first things I did was get some 18" P1s.

Kind of a ricey mod, but I had to get rid of the chrome bits of my taillights. Got some tinted rockblocker type stuff for them
Everything off
Reverse lights on and headlights on
Turn Signal on and headlights on
Night time - turn signal
Night time - reverse lights
EDIT: I have since taken the tail light tint off. I'm trying to go for more of a stock look.
