FEB 28 -- HOLLISTER SVRA meet -- GET DIRTY!!!!
here's a map:

it starts out around where HWY 101 meets with HWY 156.
#2 marker is where you make a right turn on UNION ROAD
#3 marker is where you make a right turn on CIENEGA ROAD.
finally, a 6 mile, nice curvy 2 lane road to the ranger station (#4) where you pay your $4.
get the combo lock info to get into the section for 4wd.
fcrom the ranger station, go back out to CIENEGA ROAD and go south about a mile.
you will see a gate. that is locked and use the combo to get in.
meet around the ranger station at about 10am.
look for my 90 toyota green 4runner. if not at the ranger station, i will be waiting at the school house by the gate.
since it rained like heck around here, it will be VERY MUDDY. be prepared. know how to use those hooks that came with your car. the owner's manual shows you how.
be self served for everything. there is a small store in the park. ask the rangers. if not, you can hit the main town of hollister for food, gas, etc.
at the end of the day, there is place to wash down your vehicle close to the ranger station.
bring your camera. nice spot at the top for pixs if it aint too muddy.
there are flushing toilets inside the park. believe or not...
you can also take, from 101, HWY 25, which will take you first into downtown hollister where you can stock up and then hit HH from there:
