Engine/Power - non turbo (All non turbo Imprezas) Who needs a turbo when you have 2500cc? Cams, intakes, exhausts, etc. The 2.2L and 1.8L Subies are cool too.

It's a baffle to 'tune' the noise out of the induction ~ I cut mine off way back when I was running a box. Filled it with black silicon... looked way better, but sure got noisy!

Haha, I was only using myself as a distraction so you could roll how you wanted.

The correct term for the wart is a Helmholtz resonator it's used to reduce the induction noise by generating its own frequencies thus canceling out others.
