Lessons learned from TurboRS... already..

no I didn't break it. Not yet

However, the car hates 0 psi boost. Hates long hills (H3) and Hates 92 Octane.

I tuned for full boost to get maximum 1/4mi times. Problem is @ 0 psi (part throttle) the car starts to run more lean- still stoich, but leaner than normal. This, I'm guessing, is causing cylinder temps to go up [especially #3 which is leaner than the rest] and detonation to go up. I can feel the car actually jerking back if I stay at 0lbs for a long time. If I nail it boost climbs (or kinda hops) up to 4lbs, mixtures go rich and car pulls without the jerkiness. However if I keep my foot in it for about 20 seconds it starts to run leaner and leaner (still Stoich but leaner than normal) which totally baffles me because this Walbro fuel pump should have no problem keepin' up. I'm only running 4lbs, I can't see my EGT's being a huge problem yet. Besides, I have headers and they dissapate the heat better than the stock manifolds....
ugh..

I need an EGT gauge.
I need that damn intercooler.
I need that damn parallel fuel rail mod soon.
I need a blow job.
sorry, had to throw that in.
I need my new cam from COBB before I break something.

I got a TT from Mike.
I gave him and his girl a ride and my car was slow.
He was nice and said "wow, it pulls pretty good!" but I couldn't feel it.
Maybe it's time to reset the ECU....

i think the biggest thing is the intercooler
that will bring intake air temps down

Why don't we throw my wideband onto your car and do some fuel tuning?

yeah that happens to me too....when i put it full throttle for a long period of time....let say about 3/4 down the 1/4 mile my air/fuel gauge starts slowly moving to the lean position....even at my measely 3lbs of boost..but i watch my EGT and it rarely goes past 1400 F....the only time it went past 1400 was going up the long stretch of LikeLike full throttle
