Im Moving to Monterey/ need help finding an apartment.

Well, was offered a job in Monterey and I accepted. I hope I wont be the only Suby out there.

This is all short notice, I got the job on Friday. Now I need to find me a one or two bedroom aprt. I will be hedding out on tuesday to begin my search and was wondering if any of yall knew or could recomend a good apartment complex to go check out. TIA

The last time I went to monterey I was like 8 and all I remember is feeding seagles through our hotel window. Is it a nice place to live? are there many I-clubbers out there?

John

second craigslist. Monterey is an expensive place to live though so you might want to live outside monterey in salinas or sand city or one of the other places nearby..

whats the job you got?

Yes, Monterey is expensive. I suggest Seaside, Marina, Salinas for cheaper housing. Pacific Grove is equally expensive. There aren't a lot of apartments in Monterey.

you may even try watsonville or aptos if you want a nice 'in between' fremont and monteray.

try craigslist.org or the local news paper down there.

seaside, marina, and salinas would be the better place to get an apt to rent since going towards watsonville and working at monterey is gonna be a harder commute due to bad traffic/accidents daily at moss landing.btw lots of suby's in the area also and miles of backroads to drive we usually do some scenic cruise here and there.
