Dodge is trying to market this car as the SRT-4 not a performance neon. It is still very obvious that this car is based on the neon, but technically is NOT one.
My father was working for Dodge when they released it and he fed me the same line of crap... hahaha

I debadged my car.. does that make it "technically not an Impreza"?

It's more common to see teenages such as us doing stupid stuff like revving on the streets in our rides. I don't usually see a 40 year old huck doing that. Never have actually. Not in a muscle or import. I don't think he was aiming at ALL young people, because then that would be just ignorance. Some kids aren't immature at all and like me can't afford a ticket.

Like I said before, its obvious that the car is based on the neon, but Dodge doesn't advertise it that way.

You can do whatever you want to your car and it will always be an Impreza. I prefer the wrx to the SRT-4 as well that is why I bought one.

Why do you guys slam the Neon so much? I have a 96 Neon. Back then Road & Track did a comparison test with the Neon, Honda Civic vtec, Toyota Corolla, Mazda Protoge, and Nission. The Neon beat all of them in every test. Accelleration, braking, skid pad, slolom speed, interior room and price. It competed very well in it's class thank you very much. Is it as good as a WRX? Of course not but it's not supposed to be. It only cost $12,500 new. Cars are not all intended to do the same job. I have 5. The Neon , The STI, a Chrysler Concorde, A Chevrolet Venture Mini Van and an old Datsun 2000 roadster. Which one is the best? That depends on what I am doing that day. Why slam someone else's car? There is no such thing a a perfect one.
